Tuesday, November 17, PEARCES Plans Being Made To Start Construction Os New Parsonage Mrs. Ivon Pearce Plans are being made to begin the new parsonage. The little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Junie Bunn has Scarlet fever. Mrs. H. K. Baker and Mrs. B. K. Gay attended the Raleigh Associa tion in Raleigh last Friday week at Hayes Bartin Baptist Church. Delegates attending were Mrs. Wilson Gay, Mrs. Yates Johnson and Mrs. Billy Yeargin and Rev. C. L. Capps. Miss Etha Pearce is on the sick list. The Rev C. L. Capps attended the Baptist Pastor Convention this week at Greensboro. Mr. Waylon Adams of Benson spent the week with Mr. Hal Perry. Mrs. L. D. Perry and Mrs. J. W. Perry and daughter, Emma Lou, spent Thursday in Raleigh. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Strickland took supper with the J. W. Per rys last Saturday night. Mrs. G. D. Perry and Mrs. Ivon Pearce visited the K. W. Bakers and Mrs. Ivon Hopkins of Riley last Sunday evening. Mrs. Edison Privette, Hal Perry and Waylon Adams attended the Homecoming dance at Louisburg Saturday night. Mrs. Joe Wright spent last week in Durham with her sister, Mrs. David Lee Clayton. Miss Lois Murray spent Sunday with Miss Shirley Price. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Mitchell and boys of Raleigh spent the weekend with her parents, the L. E. Priv ettes. Rev. and Mrs. C. L. Capps and son, Tim, were recent dinner guests of the Wilson Gays. Mr. and Mrs. Poole Pierce of Raleigh visited the Alex Bakers Sunday evening. Misses Tootsie Ray and Bobby Glenn Baker of Raleigh spent the weekend with their parents, the Fred Rays and Alex Bakers.
