Two BETHANY 7 72 at Sunday School; W.M.U. Will Meet Friday, December 77 Mrs. Mabel Williford There were 112 present at Sun day School Sunday. The W. M. U. will meet Friday night, December 11, in the home of Mrs. John Blackard. The Clyde Weathers Bible Class held its monthly meeting in the Dear Mr. Farmer: Are you dissatisfied with your present plant bed treatment? Is your wife and fam ily accustomed to picking plant beds; catching colds and pneumonia, and bruising and de stroying plants? If this happens on your farm, you should become acquainted with DOWFUME MC-2. 1. DOWFUME MC-2 gives complete control to all grass and weed seed to the depth that the land is broken; that is from six to eight inches deep. 2. DOWFUME MC-2 gives you absolute and complete control of nemotodes in plant beds. It is an estab lished fact that most of the bad cases of nemotode in the field come from nemotode-infested plants in the plant bed. 3. DOWFUME MC-2 will kill all soil born insects such as grub worms, etc. that are in the bed at the time of treating. This would mean ridding many of your plant beds of grub worms and similar types of insects. 4. DOWFUME MC-2 requires no special time limit in applying. You can treat as late as 48 hours before you sow your plant bed; in other words, it requires 24 hours of time to treat and 24 hours aeration be fore you sow your plant bed. N 5. DOWFUME MC-2 is simple and easy and quick to apply. Two men can treat 100 square yards of plant bed in 20 to 30 minutes. 6. DOWFUME MC-2 will save you money. When you have had a year’s experience with DOWFUME MC-2 you will cut your plant bed requirements as much as fifty percent and still get plants early enough and good enough to set your entire acreage. Many farmers are setting their tobacco as early as they want, using only fifty yards or less of MC-2 treated plant beds to the acre. Make your investigation now! Check with your neighbors. Place your order for MC-2 covers and applicators with us or your near est dealer. You can’t go wrong. DOWFUME MC-2 is the near perfect tobacco plant bed treatment.
