Twelve candidates were baptized. Flowers were placed in Watkins Chapel Baptist Church Sunday by Mrs. Theorus Johnson of Glendale. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Davis had dinner with Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Narron. Mr. and Mrs. John R. Bailey and daughter, Mrs. Gwen Ludgates and children of Burlington were holi day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Faucette. Bakers until they can get an apartment in LaGrange where Mr. Baker is a patrolman. Mrs. Ivon Pearce visited the M. L. Hagwoods Sunday evening. Mr. Charlie Perry of Poplar Springs visited his son, the Robert Perrys, last week. Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Perry, Law rence and Richard Perry attended the Baker family reunion at the K. W. Bakers last Sunday. Mrs. Blanche Dean of Raleigh spent last Sunday with her daugh ter, Mrs. H. K. Baker. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bowling of Franklinton the Robert Perrys last Monday night.
