Last Rites Held
For R. A. Raybon
A. R. Raybon, 64, of Zebulon,
Route 4, died Wednesday night at
the home of his daughter, Mrs.
Marvin Bysum, following a heart
attack. Mr. Raybon was a lifelong
resident of Wake County, a farmer
and a member of Hopkins Chapel
Baptist Church. Funeral services
were conducted Friday at 3 p.m. at
the church, with the Rev. John
ny Caldwell, pastor, officiating,
assisted by the Rev. W. C. Byrum.
Burial was in the church ceme
tery.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs.
Byrum; two sons, E. L. Raybon
of Zebulon, Route 4, and J. E.
Raybon of Raleigh; and four
grandchildren. The body was tak
en to the church at 2 p.m.
