After an evening of games, the honoree opened her gifts and then the guests were invited into the dining room for refreshments of lime ice, chicken salad sand wiches, nuts, candies and individu al bridal ices. Mrs. Jimmy Batten of Wendell, aunt of the bride-elect, presided at the punch bowl. She was assisted by Mrs. Gill. The dining table was covered with an imported linen table cloth and was centered with a perfectly gorgeous arrangement of j^hite bridal ro^es, snapdragons and candytuft. It was flanked with burning cathedral tapers in cry stal holders. Miss Raybon was given a white gardenia corsage upon arrival by the hostess. Approximately 40 guests at tended. * Miss Ann Raybon was honored on Friday night when Mesdames John Davis, Don Mooneyham, D. Whitley, H. Richardson, and Miss Nell Williams entertained at a Lioness Club Meets The president of the Raleigh Lioness Cluo, Mrs. Marion P. Nicholson, will speak to the Zebulon Lionesses Wednesday night, Feb. 26, on Lionism. Mrs. Nicholson, the wife of a Raleigh dentist, will be intro duced to the club members and # guests by Mrs. George R. Mas sey, Jr., program chairman for the month.
