Jump School Grad
Army Specialist Four Jesse J.
Ivery, Jr., whose parents live at
118 W. Horton St., Zebulon, re
cently was graduated from the
82d Airborne Division Jump
School at Fort Bragg. Specialist
Ivery received his paratrooper
wings after completeing four
weeks of intensive ground and
aerial training which included five
parachute jumps. The 82d, a
Strategic Army Corps (STRAC)
unit, maintains an immediate
readiness force for airborne de
ployment to any area in the world.
He entered the Army in 1954.
Ivery attended James E. Shepard
High School.
and daughters of Zebulon visited
