They will be at Hopkins Chapel Church Sun day. Ann Lindsey of Raleigh spent three weeks with her grandpar ents, the Eugene Mitchells. Her mother, Philithia Lindsey is with the Mitchells now. Watkins of Louisburg, Mrs. Herbert Privette of Elon College, Mrs. Ermah Jones and family of Rocky Mount, the Andrew Minors of Rolesville and the Perry Priv ettes of Youngsville. Bobby R. Gurley and Alma D. Woodlief of Rolesville gave Sam Doyle a birthday dinner at his home Saturday p.m. He was 75 years young Friday, June 23. In vited guests were Wise Doyle, Mr. and Mrs. Ebbie Stallings and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pearce. The Dee Copes of Corinth and the Noble Bunns of Durham were at my house Sunday. Weekend visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Ray were Mr. and Mrs. B. W. Ray and daughter of Raleigh. Mr. and Mrs. Bertie Brantley Jesse J. I very, Jr. Jump School Grad Army Specialist Four Jesse J. Ivery, Jr., whose parents live at 118 W. Horton St., Zebulon, re cently was graduated from the 82d Airborne Division Jump School at Fort Bragg. Specialist Ivery received his paratrooper wings after completeing four weeks of intensive ground and aerial training which included five parachute jumps. The 82d, a Strategic Army Corps (STRAC) unit, maintains an immediate readiness force for airborne de ployment to any area in the world. He entered the Army in 1954. Ivery attended James E. Shepard High School. and daughters of Zebulon visited Mr. Brantley’s mother, Mrs. Rella Brantley, and his sister, Mrs. Ern est Anderson, last Sunday.
