with perpetual care has been
planned for Wendell-ZeLulon and
surrounding areas.

ed Cemetery Consultants, Inc., of
Raleigh said his firm has been
secured for professional designing
and development of the project.
The 22-acre cemetery will be

Plans call for a series of religi

two acres in size, and each with a
central feature symbolic of some
event in the life of Christ.
The cemetery organization is
chartered by the Secretary of
State and is operated under the
supervision of the N. C. Burial
Commission.
One of the most interesting and
modern projects of Gethsemane
Memorial Gardens will be the con

entombment crypts, located with
in the base of the first Memorial.
The first Memorial will depict
Christ praying in the Garden of
Gethsemane and will be located
within a flagstone court and medi

first garden
Through Gethsemane Memorial
Gardens the families of the Wen
dell-Zebulon area will have me
morial facilities that up to this
time have been available only in
the largest cities.
