Phil lips, R2, Wendell, announce the birth of a son, Feb. 1, at Rex Hos pital. Mrs. Phillips is the former Lee Weathers. The January meeting of the Mother’s Circle met in the home of Mrs. Hubert Long, her mother, Mrs. Robert Coley, was hostess. There were eight members and three guests present. The presi dent, Mrs. Braudwell, presided, and during the business session re ported cashing a war bond and will make a gift of stainless steel bedside trays for Wendell-Zebulon Hospital. i Mrs. Oris Horton gave a very interesting program. The Valen tine motiff was carried out in re freshments: cherry tarts, chicken salad sandwiches and Russian Tea, served by Mrs. Hubert Long and Mrs. Marie Knox. Door prizes were won by Mrs. W. A.
