Lloyd Tippett who is the teach er of the Junior Class of Sunday School honored the entire class and a few visitors with a wiener roast on the lawn at his home Sat urday afternoon. The YWA’s met Monday night at the church. The church voted Sunday to be hostess to a YWA Banquet for the whole Johnston Association which will be held on September 30. Our church is the only one out of ten churches of the North ern Division that has a YWA or ganization. Mrs. Sally Forbes and Miss Joyce Hinton of Raleigh visited their parents, the Marvin Hintons. Calvin Hales returned home last week after being a patient at Wake Memorial Hospital for several days. Mrs. Dwight Driver is spending this week with the Harold Par rishes and family of Hampton, Va.
