The opening service of the golden jubilee or fif tieth anniversary of the foreign mis sionary work of women in the United States was held in West ; Market Street Methodist"' Episcopal church this morning at 10 o'clock. Manteo, N. C, . Oct. 13. Orville Wright's newest flying machine arT rived this afternoon at the combine' tion hangar and eottage on the sands nKKill Devil, in which Mr. Wright ana bis guests are spending what the former declares is merely a vacation. Ine : machine waa landed from a steamer at Collington bay, near Kit ty Hawk station, early this morning and was brought on to the Wright camp in a box ear. About six hours' work will assemble and put it in shape ror operation and Mr. Wright says there will a flight tomorrow if there is a 20 or 25-mile breeze blowing. Reports that the new flyer i to be a world-startler are belittled by Or- ville Wright.'
