Safrit, of jßiiner, a sumptuous birthday dinner at Ibe'pret ty country home of his son, Rufus Safrit, celebrating his 80th birthday anniver sary. A table between fifty and seventy-five feet long was erected in the yard under the large native oaks, an ideal place on a hot day, and was literally loaded with the most tempting viands, such as the good women of that community know how to prepare. The blessing was invoked by the pas tor. Rev. C. A. Brown, after which every body was invited to help themselves.
