LOCAL MENTION No improvement is reported in the condition of Peter Roger Rost, who has been undergoing treatment in the. Charlotte Sanatorium for a week. The local library will be closed to day so that the employees may go to the fair, this being the day that 4he Merchants Association asked the stores to close. If the weather permit, the last game of the world series will be play ed today. Johnson and Aldridge, with two victories each, will be the oppos ing monndsinen.
