The dty’s parking ground, just in the rear of the city hall, will be ready within the next several days. Fences are being erected now and when these are completed the ground will be ready for motorists. The space is being ar ranged so that cars can get in and out without trouble. Improvements arc now underway, on he old Charlotte road in an effort to make seme permanent improvements, according to county highway officials. The old tar road, which was worn in leep holes, is being scarrified and the ■ntire road will be made over into a top-soil highway. Dr. W. C.
