ing witnessed a glorious sunrise. The
eastern skies seemed lighted with a
roillhn candles, each casting a soft
reflection on a sky banked with white,
slow moving clouds that echoed the
reflection to other parts of the sky.
The condition of Mrs. M. A. E. Tal
birt, who lias been ill for several weeks
at the home of her son. 1,. A. Tal
birt. continues to improve. Mrs. Tal
birt is now able to be up the greater
portion of each day and has gained
strength daily for the last week.
Nothing has been heard so far from
relatives in Chester. Pa., of Harry
Johnson, Harry Hager and Frank
WtHaeur, held here for the theft of
an automobile. Relatives of the boys
have been notified of t*be arrest and
officers except to get some word from
Chester today.
Another city landmark is being
torn down now. The Hill building,
adjoining the Store of G. W. Patter
son. and now owned by G. J. Harr's,
is being razed and a modern struc
ture will replace it. Workmen start
ed the work of demolishing the build
ing this morning.
