uled to begin their duties tomorrow.
Prof. J. W. B. Long is tax super
visor of the county again this year
and he plans to start the listers on
their duties tomorrow. All proper
ty owners are expected to list their
taxes during the month of May.
Rain is badly needed in this section
of the state. Farmers and garden
owners are finding the dry weather
detrimental to their crops and per
sons with flower gardens are finding
it difficult to keep the flowers in
bloom. It is said that the entire
western part of the state needs rain
now.
