Mr. Carver delivered an interesting address of about 30 minutes duration on the sub ject "Some of the Far Reaching Effects of the Civil War." Mrs. J. A. Long made a state ment in regard to the Confeder ate Museum at Richmond and asked for a , collection to help maintain the North Carolina room in same.' Mr. W. T. Bradsher who had recently visited Richmond, gave a graphic and entertaining de scription of this museum and made all feel proud of the part taken in the late war by the Tar Heels.
