Ga., arrived yesterday morning

are glad to see that time seems
to pass well with him for - not

time since he left here he shows

President Wilson to Marry
Mrs. Gait of Washington.
Woodrow Wilson, President of
the United States, announced
Wednesday night his engagement
to Mrs. Norman Gait of Wash
ington. TheNiate of the wedding
has not been fixed, but it will
probably take place in December
at the home of the bride-elect.
Mrs. Gait is the widow of a
well known business man of Wash,
ington, who died eight years ago,
leaving a v ie welry business that
still bears his name. She is beauti
ful and accomplished, about v 38
years old, and was born in Wythe-
ville, Va., where her father, Wil
Ham H. Boiling, was a prominent
lawyer. j
Earlier in the day a statement
was also given out at the White
House that President Wilson had
decided to vote for the proposed
Constitutional Amendment for
woman suffrage in New Jersey.
Hitherto he has been noncommit
tal on tins issue.
