J. W. NOELL. EDITOR AN VOL. XL TOBACCO MARKET OPENS TUESDAY EVERYTHING READY AT AUC> v TION HOUSES The Old Reliable Hyco and the New Independent Warehouses Solicits , Your Business. On next Tuesday morning, September 25th, the tobacco market will .open for' auction sales in Roxhoro. "The majority of -the farmers ' are through curing and while - there is rarely a heavy, sale on the first day . quite a number of farmers will be on hand, with a load to test the market, to see how if is going to start off. Every- indication is that tpbacco is going to sell ijor satisfactory prices this season, especially have| the nfedium grades on. the eastern markets been bringing sajtisfaetpry prices. The crop in this County is PF: going to eh a heavy crop, with probably fewer wrappers than usual, but with good, w&xey grades, and. these seem to be just what the . large companies are wanting. In any event you may rest assured no mnrket will pay you more for the same grades than jrou will get right here at home. Do not be deceived by ' ' promises, but' stick to your home market and in the end you will be the gainer. There will be two houses here selling the old auction way?the ftyco, run by Mess. W. T. Pass & Company, and the new Independent, run by the Independent Warehouse Co. Everybody knows who runs the Hyeo? Tobe Pass is a household 'word in thia and adjoining counties, and his friends will.sell with him regardless of who or how tobacco is sold. .Ho says he has never had a stronger -force with him than he has secured this season, and he wants your business. ?
