Editor-in-Chief, Mirfuvt A. Perkins We've got a newcomer in our neighborhood, He seems so quiet, old fashioned, and good; He has brought weak Latin scholars in the light, And I mean he too engaged in this fight. We should indealize this professor in his chair. Oh, don't let us forget that wavy hair; He owns strict duty as his first control, With the discipline too wonderful to be told. He wisely hides his heart from you and me. He has known quietness to be a necessity, Salute this man, oh. praise him! He's a grand young man, dear old Mr. ! Through every happy line I sing, I feel the tonic of the spring, The day is like an old-time face, (That gleams across this high school place. _ An pld-time face?an old-time chum Who rises from Georgia to come And lure us over to the land of France. Where she has trained R. H. S. stu dents That they might have a chance. I see across the school room planks This dark-haired lady in view.
