In Memory Of My "Dear Father" It is with a sad heart I try to write a few words in memory of my beloved Father. The death angel visited the home of my dear mother, and claimed her dear husband and our loving fath er. He was sick only one week. No one knows how much he suffered, but the Lord knows best. Everything was done by doctors and loved ones, but nothing could stay the cold hands of death. I stood by his bedside day and night, and did everything for fa ther, that I could. He died November 21, 1935, and he said he was ready to go. He had the influenza, pneumonia, he leaves to mourn, his companion, and three children, Hubert, Fannie and Ada. He was laid to rest in the An derson Harris burying ground among a beautiful mound of flowers. The pallbearers were: Zeb Harris, Franklin Harris, Harvin Harris, Floyd Hawkins, Kltchin Harris and Bill Ter ^ rell. The flower bearers were: Mabel ? Terrell, Mrs. Ruth Vickers, Mrs. Alma W Lawson, Sallle Adcock, Rena, Thelma, Hallie, Maiy, Virginia, and Lois Bark er, Frances Jackson and Mrs. Lonie New. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. J. C, McGregor. Writtej by Mrs. Ada Jackson and Mrs. Fannie Shelton, Jalong, N. C. ? Legal Ads NOTICE!
