'I'he pledges for State and Association mission work given by the churches em braced in the Atlantic Association "Wed-i.e-day night, alter the able address of Rev. Dr. C. Durham anil the strong ap peal of Mr. J. C. Whitty, amounted to 554.4-t. Of this amount the New Borne Baptist church gave $125. By a resolution passed this amount is to be augmented by further donatiiuis from the members of the different ehun li es aft. r the dut v has been presented to lh ;'.i by their pastors. The pledges of the churches to Foreign mission work amounted toiflfllj. The report of the Executive Board was read by Mr. .1. C. Whitty ami adopted. The report on State Missions was read by Kev. IT. C. Moore- A motion was passed that the pastors. i..f the churches recommend to their con gregations to take up a collection within the next I'n) days to aid Rev. C. J. Nelson in paving for the churoh at Eureka. A resolution offered by Rev. .1. II.
