Now the question is w hether the govern ment will go ahead and fill the regi ments itself, either directly or through their olliccrs. Col. W. II. S. Burgwyne of the Second Regiment left yesterday for Washington to sec the Secretary of War in order lo obtain a complete equipment of arms and clothing for his regiment. He will also apply for instruments for the band. While be is absent, Major B. F. Dixon is in command of the Regiment.
