C. N. Allen of the State board of ag
riculture says the condttlon of crop on
clay lands Is being over-estimated this
season; that sandy land crops are better
than those on clay soils; but that good
rains are bringing the latter out. He
thinks the crop of 1890 was finer than
that this year.

of them, are interested In education and
If they do decide to hold this rally It will
