Among the) many attractive features of the MlidreJ and Rouclere company of entertainers, that cf, the Man of the Moment Is conspicuous. Whatever the spectator may call this, deception, 11 luslon r trick of the eye, It Is a wonder ful eshilit, for apparently no opportun ity for deception exists, and the Man and there 1b a Woman as well, Is trans ferred physically, yet invisibly, and the spectator simply rubs his eyes and ap plauds the splendid act, which so com plete'y deceives. And there Is something of the uncanny in it, for ihe Mans lifts hlunelf, blirouded, and according to the deception, tiere are two of him, one dis appearing behind prison bars, while the otber remains, shrou led, but in plain view of tbe audience all the time, and In a Moment this figure Is found to be the iUa. W here is the other ? That Is for the spectator to gus, and It Is a guess which Is likely to be along time In being satisfactorily setile4,by those who look at this exhibit from the front of the bouse.
