A society in order to live and prosper must have certain very definite aims. A brotherhood like the Coming Men of America, where every member is work ing for the same purpose, can accom plish results possible in no other way. That great results are accomplished through organization is a fact recog I nized by all thinking men. Briefly stated, the objects of tho C. M. A. are as follows, the great end being to make good men and citizehp ; 1 Building of Chaiucter. 2 By united effort to strive for high ideals. ' ".' . The following extract from an article in the Kinston Free Press announcing. the opening of the tobacco market there in August, makes very encour- aering reading for those farmers who have grown a good crop of the weed. "The opinion of tobacconists who are In close touch with the market is that prices will be better, though they don't look for a repetition of the fancy prices of 1902. Some reasons given for this belief are the light crop and curtailed acreage in the old belt, a larger num ber of independent buyers, more in quiry from the two large corporations, and the fact that the Japanese govern ment has taken her account from the A. T. Company and will enter-the mar ket as an independent buyer. This last fact is especially significant, as the Japs are heavy purchasers of the Amer ican product" NEW REPUBLICAN DAILY. ' The average man does not save to ex ceed ten per cent of his earnings. He must spend nine dollars in living ex 4enses for every -dollar saved. That being the case he cannot be too careful about -unnecessary expense. Very often a few cents properly invested, like buying seeds for his garden, will save several dollars outlay later on. It is the same in buying Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy. It costs but a few cents, and a bottle of it in the house often saves a doctor's bill of several dollars. For sale by F. S.
