It was a splendid financial exhibit that the stockholders of the Citizens Bank had prcsentc d to them, as they met in regular annual session at their their banking rooms, on the 12th Inst, The progress of tho bank in new busi ness, made the regular annual dividend of six per cent simple matter, and in addition found themselves warranted in declaring a ' special dividend of six per cent this giving the fortur-at pos sessors of stock in this bank 12 on their holdings during the past year. A few months ago the officers of the Citizens Bank decided to pay four per cent on certificates of deposits and have been issuing new certificates since that time at that rate; also renewing old certificates at the increased rates as they ' mature and are , presented, and the stockholders approved of the action of the bank officers, in thus mak ing interest four per cent en certificates of deposit The stockholders re-elected the same board of directors, and at the directors meeting which followed, the following offidors were re-elected for the ensuing year: V u ! ;:-" T.
