C, Jan. 13-Oppositkm to theiilding of the harbor of refuge atCapeHatteras, which has been de cided upon by Government engineer having in charge of the project, has de veloped here and the Chamber of Com merce will meet today to advocate Cape Lookout for the sailor's haven. The chamber will lay particular stress on the shifting sands of Cape.Hatteras and the shoals which move up anddown the coast for half a mile. Greaves resigned the pastoral care of the First Baptist church in thiii citv last night, and on Mirchlst will move to Hawkinsville, Ga., where he will resume care of the Baptist church in that city. Mr Greaves came here from Hawkinsville two years aga, and returns on the earnest solici tation of his former congregation. It will be a matter of regret outside of his congregation to have this gentleman leave New Bern, where his presence and work has contributed very largely to the moral uplift of this community.
