THE PRICE OF PUBLICITY.
The action of the Chamber of
Commerce in asking, th.it annual
appropriations be made by this ci

advantages of city and county, in
order to attract investors and set
tiers to this section, is a move in a
business direction, one that is
needed.
The suggestion of municr)al and
county advertising their resources

new investments, has lon-j; met ap,

"iVO LUXURY IN CREDIT.
Only th urthinking, the inex

uable, except the credit that means
legitimate endorsement in trade or
business.
There ia a positive misfortune
for a young man or woman, work
ing for wages, to have a store cred
it beyond thirty or sixty days. It
is unfortunate for any wage earn
er to get into the asking for credit
habit. And yet this habit is 01
ten forced upon the wage earner
by store keepers, who believe that
secuiiDg Buch credit trade will re
suit in getting the wage earners
cash. From such credit granting,
grows the misery upon the young
neison. - This credit isregaraea as
a luxury. I The indefinite, day to
