The Story of a Rescue Trip In the

BRAVE MEN AND SPEEDY DOCS
An Act of Heroism That Saved a Wo

The hardships to which iuiile are

occasion for the display "of heroism.
In the pages of "Trailing and 'anip
Ing In Alaska" Mr. Addison M. Powell
tells of the rescue of a woman and her
husband who were stranded on the
mountains in an Alaskan w inter.
A dog team galloped up and st.rpped
in front of the only pretense of a hotel
in Valdez. The Bight was dark, as the
northern -winter nights always are
when the moon is not shining. The
dogs immediately lay down, almost ex
hausted 'front their long trip, and the
two men were soon surrounded by In
quiring friends. One of the two said:
"What do you think, fellows? We
passed a woman just this side of Saw
mill Camp. She was pulling a f-k-d. on
which was her sick husband. We re
monstrated against her crossing the
glacier, but she yo IJeel that they

A CONFESSION

Hincs, Ala. "I must confess", sayt
Mrs. Eula Mae Reid, ot this place, "thai
Cardui, the woman's tunic, has done me
a greqt deal of good.
Before 1 commenced using Cardui. i
would spit up everything i ate. 1 had Z
tired, sleepy feeling all the time, and was
irregular. 1 could hardly drag around,
and would have severe headaches con
tinuously.
Since taking Cardui, I have entirely
quit spittiug up what I eat. Everything
seems to digest ail right, and 1 have
gained 10 pounds in weight."
If you are a victim of any of the numer
ous ills so common to your sex, it is
wrong to suffer.
rcr half a century, Csrdui has been re
lieving just such ills, as is proven by the
thousands of letters, similar to the above,
which pour into our ottice, year by year.
Cardui is successful because it is core
posed of ingredients which act specifically
on the womanly constitution, and helps
build the weakened organs back to health
and strength.
Cardui has helped others, and will help
you, too. Get a bottle, today. You
won't regret it. Your druggist sells it.
