ZHKSkazmsx': it rirsl March 17th For the last year we have looked forward to the time when a new administration would take charge of Na tional affairs. Regardless of party creed or election expectations we Americans have looked forward to Mch. 4, as the turning1 point in renewed prosperity. March 4 is here and has passed. Before us is prosperity, em ployment, good times, if we will do our part. No one can be prosperous without a general prosperity. Belmont has been known for its good business men and its good people, all because its people and business men delivered the goods. Everybody now must help everybody else. There are three factors concerned - the buyer, the seller, the producer, of the three the buy er is the key to the present situation. Now is the time for us to buy the things we need. Prosperity depends on the revival of buying. A revival of buying means, mills running full time, stores and offices with full pay rolls, builders and contractors working more men instead of laying them off. It all depends on the buying public. The merchants, bankers and business men of Belmont have decided to help carry out the program outlined above. If Belmont and the surrounding' community will lend a hand and help "boost" we .will see business get better. We cannot sit down and expect business to come to us. Get up and go after it. Dollar Day promises to be a notable event in our midst. Take advantage of the bargans here shown and benefit yourself directly and help the community by patronizing the home merchant. He has to live and he will do all he can toward letting you live by selling you a lot of the necessities of life at a reasonable figure. Help make Dollar Day a success and you will be doing your self a favor and the town too. V In the individuad ads you wll see a sample of the hundreds of bargains offered on Dollar Day. i G. W.
