He knows what the condenseries have done for other places and will be able to tell what one will do for this county. To secure the condensery for Mebane the farmers within a 30 miles radius of that town will have to assure a daily supply of 50,ooo» pounds per day. This will be five or six thousand gallons. This amount can he supplied easi ly if only a sufficient number of the men and women within the 30 miles radius will agree to buy the cows arid supply the milk. And it is certain that whoever wants to buy cows will be enabled | to do so in one way or another. Mr. W. S. Harris, of Mebane, phones on Tuesday that it has been definitely arranged for Mr. Humphrey to speak at Anderson school on Tuesday night, Novem ber JSt, at 7 :30 o'clock. Every body in reach/is strongly urged by the Caswell Chamber of Com merce and by the Kiwanis Club of ^ Mebane to attend that meeting if possible. Mr. Harris says that an engagement for Prospect Hill will be announced later, and pos sibly one for Yanceyville. Mr. Carter of Mebane is also to speak at Anderson school on Friday night, October 28th. There is to be an entertainment there then. But Mr. Carter will speak about the condensery. , v As the people learn of the pro portions of the condensery busi ness they get on fife about it. If only everybody woultl go plumb wild about it there would he no question about its coming to this section.A condensery is going to be located somewhere in North Carolina. And Mebane stands a good chance of getting it. Why shouldn’t all the intelligent folks of Caswell turn out in aoody and root for the enterprise? It will help us out of the financial wilder ness quicker than anything else. The Caswell County Chamber of Commerce urges everybody who can do so to come to Ander son school on Tuesday night, No vember rst, at 7:30, and to Pros pect Hill and Yanceyville when the dates are announced. WHEREAS, our State is being burdened with a large number of stores and filling stations which operate on the Sabbath day, many such places often being called stores "and filling - stations, when in reality they are blind tigers and"assembling places for boys and young men who should be at home or at Sunday School; THEREFORE, be it resolved that this District meeting of Juni or.s of the Fourteenth District, composed of Rockingham and BURLINGTON, N. ' This practically eliminates internal friction, the great est enemy of long tire-life in ordinary tires; > Gum-Dipping, exclusively Firestone, increases the strength and flexibility of the tire. Nevertheless, Firestone prices are the lowest in tire history. That’s why you’ll be "Miles Ahead" when you equip your car with these wonderful tires. Come in today!
