TRADE WITH
Western Football. .
The athletic atmosphere of the
Middle Wesl colleges, clouded for
more than a year by constant
wranglings over reforms, alleged
poor spirit, and a lack of fair play,
has been cleared. A "big-four"
group lias been formulated, com
posed of Chicago, Michigan, Wis
consin. &nd Minnesota, resembling
in many respects the "big fonr" of
the East. The fraternalized Uni
versities have agreed to settle all
differences at once and unite in a
closer alliance. They have drawn
up a set of resolutions . which are
likely to stand as a landmark in the
"purity" movement, and have gone
so far as to arrange a schedule of
football games for as much as four
years in advance.

Brain emcl TBy&
HOW EYE-STRAIN RETARDS STUDY.
Many students possessing superior minds oftimes fancy themselves dull because they
fail in their studies.
The reason is simply this: They are afflicted with so much eye strain that it requires
nearly all the nervous force they possess to fix the eye upon their books, thereby exhausting
the energy of the brain.
Many students unwisely sacrifice their health in attaining an education, because of the
large amount of brain-strain sustained in the close use of their eyes, though their vision
seems excellent. This form of brain-strain is easily detected by an expert and most always
remedied by glasses properly adjusted.
If you break your glasses don't send them away for repair, taking the chances of delay
and mistakes. Just bring the pieces to the office and I will do the rest.
