New Tennis Rules ,The Tennis Association at a meet ing in chapel Monday ruled the follow ing regulations to take effect this evening- ( 1. No player or set of players will be allowed the use of a court during an entire afternoon. 2. At 4 pclock each evening the college bel will tap twice as a signal for all play, to cease upon all the courts. All waiting players will then replace those in possession of the courts. 3 If no one claims a court for 10 minutes af'er the ringing of the bell those in possession, may resume play. 4. No one is allowed to get the court in the first part of "the evening and pledge it for the second part. 5. In the case of tournaments the foregoing regulations do not apply. It was jfound neccessary to pass these rules , to give all the players of the Association a fair chance for practice. . There are now about 150 members o,fj, the association, and the entire change at 4 oclock will give many more a chance for regular play. It was hoped that courtesy would prompt the-jfellows to give up their courts tojwaiting players, but since courtesy- failed, the association was forced j to pass these rules. So, if you. get a? court any time before 4 oclock It is. yours till, the bell rings, but at that, instant it passes into other hands, ;and it is their right to take it.
