They met to I con sider Junior week. A committee was appointed to arrange a program which will be submitted t o the two classes soon after Christmas. .The; committee was:' J. B. Farrior, '10, E. F. Mc Culloch, '11, W. L. Small, '11, and!,!. F. Witberington, '11; D. B. Teague, no. : ' -; ' ' ; .;.: at the Theatre The trial month of the Pickwick has passed. ; Doubtless the manage ment, will keep the pictures going after Christmas." As a place where the stu dents could get a little ramusement in a town where amusement non esl, its success has been assured and it has been well merited. Practically all the pictures have been good, many of the students had read Maupassant's "The Necklace" and had appreciated it but they had never had such a graphic realization of it as when they saw the whole story portrayed in the motion pictures. Also the static color pic tures accompanying- the songs have often been quite beautiful. With the exception of the so called songs the music has been well rendered on the urum ana piano. Taken all together the Pickwick has done quite a good deal to add to the pleasantness that that short hour after supper which the students spend "dewn town." If it were only possible to start the first show a little earlier and do away with that half hour of being bored while awaiting the mail.
