It is his right, his duty, to do it. If there were freshmen enough with the spirit of S. I. Parker, it's possible that fewer doors would be broken into on the campus. When it is known that no less a personage than Nat Cartmell is interested in a team, enough has been said. There is much basket ball material in college this year, and a number of devotees of the game, prominent among whom is Mr. Marvin Ritch, are determined to re; vive this sport at the University. A challenge has been received from the University of Tennessee asking about a game for Feb. 24. Basket ball has been decidedly dead at Carolina for the last few years.
