THE TAR HEEL 4 Sportograms Interesting Exercises in Chapel. Continued from first page Carolina , Virginia . About 4 p. ra, tomorrow you'll be able to fill that out. , Bretheren, Carolina expects all of you who can to be there. A raulti tude of us on the side lines and the boys will play as they have never play ed before. Lusty, loud lungee cheer ing may not win that game, but it will certainly help a whole lot. Our friend "College Topics," after paying a nice comp'iment to the fight ing spirit our team always shows on Thanksgiving day goes on to remark that it will prove unavailing 3 against their superior eleven. Maybe so bnt we have doubts about that superiority. Tackle to tackle our line looks better. The ends are a stand off. At quarter : Honaker has the call, easily. At full, Porter is head and shoulders above anything Virginia has shown this year. There is little to choose between the half backs. There you are. Tt looks to us like a shake of the bag between the two outfits. As to our chances to-morrow well we'll speak plainly. If the boys don't fumble and if Honaker doesn't get loose on a down field journey, 'we're likely to win. Now the boys, we are sure, are going to swing to the swinesKin and they're going to keep their peep ers on Mr. Honaker. Tennis Tournament Continues The sophomores beat the juniors Monday in doubles, the score being 6-4, 6-4. In singles, however, 116b good,'12, beat Hunter, '13, 6-3, 6-3; while Cook, 12, beat Mebane, '13, 7-5, 10-12, 6-4. Te law team beat the freshmen 4-6, 9-7, 6-4. The ladies of the Episcopal church have conceived a unique plan of conducting a bazaar here on December the 6th. In order to attract both stu dents and townspeople, they will have on sale a great variety of articles to be used as Christmas presents.. Thse articles will, in the main, be made by the ladies themselves. ' A welcome will be accorded to everyone, and no stu dent need hesitate to ask of the ladies their confidential iid vice as to just "what she would like best." The place and hour of this bazaar will be announced later. nasium athletes enlivened the program with choice acrobatic and gymnastic stunts. These acrobats were Smith, Allison, Carter and Hughes, with Duls as manager. A most interesting part of the pro gram was ot course the awarding of the trip to Richmond offered for the best new Carolina song submitted. About twenty men entered songs for this contest, most of which were of real merit. Mr, E. W. Turlington won out over all the others by his ingenious verses to the tune of "Auld Lang Syne."
