Roach Stewart and the honorable
sporting editor have selected first and
second all class teams. They look
pretty good to us. If you differ with
us well we'll make up third and
fourth teams for consolation purposes.

Full back Jones (1914).
This outfit certainly looks all to the
mustard. The linemen have the neces
sary goods. Worth, who is shifted to
end, is an excellent punter and drop
kicker. Barker is a fast, heady quar
ter. Wood and Hoffman are the best
pair of halves class ball has seen in
many a day Jones reminds us of
Porter. He is a good line bucker and
puts up a superb defense.

is a likely looking bunch. 'It
would give the first team a nice tussle,
Harper, the freshman center, is an ex
cellent player and would probably have
made his position ion one of the all
class aggregations but for the fact
that he was unable to play in the fresh-i
junior game. . , .
Weir, brethren, we white-washed old
Penn the other day. Score was 3r 0.
Battery for Carolina Taylor and Wil
liams. "Dean" Taylor was invincible
had a sharp curve and dazzling
speed. "Doc" Williams worked with
him in splendid style.
Look over the Washington Post's
all South Atlantic selection and com
pare it with the Tar Heel's. Stewart's
bunch has the edge by about 10 per
cent. The Post evidently forgot that
Porter, Abernethy and Kluttz played
ball in this section.
