Miss Alice Noble has returned after an extended visit to various points in Florida. The Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity entertained very charmingly Friday night in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Dey. Miss May. Edmonds '10 has entered the University Law School. Mr. Edmonds has had, since graduation, a position in the historical department of the State Library at Raleigh. The Johnston 'County Club held its monthly meeting last Saturday night in the Mission Room of the Y. M. C. A. building. Fourteen of the fifteen members were present. At the Pickwick this week, the new pianist, Miss Ruth Adams has made quite a hit. Her instrumental work is good. She sang some popular songs Monday and Tuesday nights which re ceived hearty applause. The pictures, as usual, are good. The management promises that within a few days still better pictures will be put. on. Per formance every night from 7:30 to 10:00. Dr. Wilson Speaks in Raleigh. . On Friday, January 27, Dr, L. R. Wilson delivered an address before the Association of City Superintendents in Raleigh on the work of the North Carolina Library Commission.
