Y. M. C A. Officers Insialled. The newly elected officers ot the Younr Men's Christian Associ-ition were installed last Tuesday night They are: J. C. Lockhart, President. F. B. Drane, vice-President.- . C. E. Norman, Secretary. W. D. Barbee, Tredsurer. The new president, Mr. Lockhart has shown himself to be actively in terested in the work of the Y. M. C A. and is recognized as having exe cutive ability. Messrs. Drane and Norman, the new vice-president and secretary respectively have proved themselves to be active and enthusi astic laborers in the work of the Association. The new treasurer, Mr. Barbee is recognized as having finan cial ability. All of the new officers are members of the present junior class and will be seniors during their term of office. Following the' installation of officers the retiring president, Mr. E. W. Turlington, made his report. It showed that 315 students are mem bers of the Association, 232 are . en rolled in the Bible classes, and 79 in the mission study courses. There has been an average attendance of ninety five at the Tuesday night meetings and fifteen at the Thursday night prayer meetings. Eight Sunday schools in the neighborhood have been furnished with teachers. The Book Exchange and Star course en tertainments have been conducted with much success. . 1 necting for all other points.
