THE TAR HEEL IV On the Campus L. P. McLendon, of the Law School spent the week end in Raleigh. Mr. Will Dorse, of Trinity College was in town to attend the lectures. Miss Annie Root of Raleigh .visited Mrs. Dr. Holmes during the lectures. Dr. Venable entertained Dr. Van Dyke during- his stay in Cliapcl Hill. Mr. Cameron McRae spent the week end on the Hill, visiting his family. Mrs. E. K. Graham entertained Saturday afternoon in honor of Mrs, Shipp. Bishop Cheshire made his visit to Chapel Hill and the University on Sunday. Dr. Mims invited a number of friends for luncheon Saturday to meet Dr. Van Dyke. Miss Elsie Minis, of Durham, visited her brother, Dr. Mims, and attended the lectures. Messrs. Courtney. Alderman, Ivy and Bennett of Trinity were over for the lectures. Miss Mary Graham, of Charlotte, spent the week end with her brother, Prof. Graham. Mr. R. S. Proctor of Denver, N. CM visited C. E. Mcintosh '11 during ' the McNair fete. Miss Sallie Byrd, after a weeks visit to Mrs. Herty returned Monday to her home in Baltimore. Mrs. Charles Mangum entertained Saturday morning in honor of, her guests, the Misses Busbee. Clayton Moore, of the Law School, spent a few days in Richmond and in Buffalo Springs Va., last week. Mr. Ira W. Turlington returned Monday to her home in Smithfield, after a few days visit to Mrs. Richard Hogue. Mrs. George McGhee was hostess at an informal tea on Saturday morning at which Mrs. Margaret Busbee Smith, of Raleigh, 'Was the guest ol honor.
