These tickets read as follows: "This ticket entitles the holder to one best reserved seat to the three productions (one each Uni versity quarter) given by The Caro lina Playmakers this season and a ton per cent reduction on all outside at tractions brought to Chapel Hill under the auspices of The Playmakers." It was previously announced that these tickets would sell for $1.50. How ever, the possibilities of a fourth per formance by The Playmakers in the Forest Theatre during the spring have become more evident; hence this change. These tickets are now on sale at Pritchard-Patterson's and it is to the interest, of all patrons of The Play makers to secure a subscriber's mem bership before the performance of "Seventeen" November 10 and 11. The management announces a good sale of these tickets since they have been on and only a limited number can be sold as there are but 300 seventy five cent seats in The Play-House. LAUNDRY LISTS ARE TROUBLING AGAIN In spite of the repeated requests of Paulsen, manager of the laundry, to fill out the laundry slips and put them into the laundry bag, some students persistently refuse to do so. Those who are guilty of this infrac tion of the rules of the laundry are upperelassmen and graduates; the fresh men are to be commended for entering heartily into the bargain with the hum dry and donig their part in co-operating with the force. f mm W Mr."-, .. FORCES IS PUBLISHED The new publication of the depart ment of social welfare, "The Journal of Social Forces," made its appear ance on the campus November 1. Dr. Odum, the editor, was assisted by a number of able contributing editors and expects to make this magazine a vehicle for the expression of the best (bought in the wide field of social welfare. Social welfare is not a science but an object, and the new publication, as its name implies, is designed to deal with the several forece which are work ing towards a better balanced and more wholesome life among individuals as social units. . Just before the whistle blew he intercepted a pass and in two plays' carried the ball over the goal line. During the second half line plays were generally unsuccessful, so the punting duol was renewed. Finally South Carolina made a series of first downs which carried the ball over North Carolina 's goal line. South Caro lina 's defensive system proved to make line plays and end runs very difficult for the Tar ITeels. On the offensive Boatwright made considerable gains for his team through running back the punts which he received.
