The subject of the lecture will be "The Mining and Manu facturing of Asbestos." This is one of a series of lectures that the geology department is arrang ing. Other films, it is expected, will be shown later under the auspices of the United States Mining Bureau. The public is invited to attend these lec tures. The pictures will be general enough in their nature to be of inter est generally, and will be of especial interest to students specializing in geo logy or engineering.
