If ourig Toms was a junior at the University, and was a most likeable young manf having many friends in Durham and at the University. His unfortunate death was a shock to his com munity. ' Mr. Toms has adopted a splen- uiu memoa ior escaDiisning a memorial for his son, one that will serve not only as a fitting memorial, . but one that will prove a blessing to many a young man in the future who will re ceive assistance from that scholarship.
