Approximately 75 University ath letes braved the cold air and the fam ous Chapel Hill mud and waded down to the Tin Can Wednesday night to take part in the all University Indoor Track Meet Jupiter Pluvius was reigner supreme when the 7:30 hour rolled around, but officials and a few v enthusiastic spectators went down to the Can and the fourth annual meet promptly. J dormitory repeated its feat of last year and carried off the dormi tory honors with a total of 38 1-3 points and was followed by the Betas with 15 points. J. K. Smith of J dormitory was awarded the track shoes donated by the Book X for pil ing up the greatest individual score of the meet. His total was 10 points and he was followed closely by Jack Fort and A. E. Barnhardt who tied with 10 points each for second place. Summary of events: Broad jump : Fort, Sigma Phi Sig ma, first; J. Meets Charlotte This afternoon at 2:30, the Caro lina cinder path will receive its bap tism by fire for this year when Coach Ranson's frosh track and field men will engage the Charlotte High squad.
