Pass Twelve THE TAR HEEL Thursday, Noyember 24, 1997 cl in m si ye i ai ins J tH pij da lin mi st I ms i J i ; J I v r i ; i i HOLIDAY DANCES START T0M0SR0Y Final Arrangements Completed for German Club Thanks- ' givingHops. v The annual' Thanksgiving German Club dances will get under way to morrow afternoon in Swain Hall with Weidemeyer's orchestra furnishing the music. . ' ; ' The first h6p of the series of five will begin at four o'clock and will last until six. It will be sponsored by the Sophomore Order of the Minotaurs, and Mrs. W. M. Dey will act as head chaperone. Friday evening the dan ,cing will last from ten till one.. The Junior Order of Gimghouls ,are to give this dance; and Mrs. W. S. Ber nard is to be the hpad chaperone. The Gimghoul figure will be led by Mr. Copy. Dick with Miss Mabel Walker Freeman, assisted by Mr. Andy Cowles with Miss Martha Arckman, and Mr. Rufus Little with Miss Wif ma Kuck. The Saturday morning dance, last ing from eleven till one will be chap eroned by Mrs. H. D. Meyer. Satur day, afternoon the dancing will begin again at four and last until six, with Mrs. J. M. Booker as head chaperone. The series will be concluded Saturday evening with the annual Fall German, Mrs. C. T. Woollen will act as chief chaperone, and the dancing will last from nine till twelve. The figure will be led by Mr. Emmett Wooten with Miss Verna Hodges, assisted by Mr. Thomas Uzzell with Miss Frances Lineberger, and Mr. Ed Hedgpeth with Miss Hesta Kitchen. , The decorations for the dances are being furnished by Upchurch of Ra leigh. , The color scheme will be work ed out in burnt orange and yellew.
