Duke next. These two words
should mean something to sev
eral people on this campus. For
this weekend the Blue Devils of
Coach Wallace Wade and Duke
university make the 10-mile trip
to Kenan stadium to face the
Tar Heels of Coach Ray Wolf
and the University of North
Carolina. For the past two years
they have drawn capacity and
record crowds. This year is no
exception.
Was Favored?
In 34 Duke was favored. In
'35 Carolina was favored. In '36
Duke is favored. But-the "was
favored" teams lost. The ques
tion today is, can the "is favor
ed" team be beaten?
Duke has the more impressive
record. The only blotch is a 13
15 loss to Tennessee. But this
shows that, no matter how good
the Blue Devils are cracked up
to be, they can be beaten. Our
