The Carolina Quarterly, which
was launched in the fall of 1948,
has always chosen its editor after
the Spring issue, Duval said. -This
time, he stated, the editor will
be named early in order to gain
the experience of working on the
Spring issue under the guidance
of the present editor.
The Carolina Quarterly pub
lishes three editions a year, and
is highly regarded in the field of
college literary magazines, Duval
