Linville Puckett and Phil Grawemeyer, seeing service for the first time this season with the nationally second ranking Wild cats, scored 12 and 11 points re spectively, as Kentucky outscored the Deacons, 36-14, in the last quarter. Wake Forest was held to just four field goals in the third quarter and none in the fourth. With Dick Hemric hitting in tie first quarter, however, Kentucky was in deep hot water for awhile.
