Franklin St. The Surr.mer School Film Festival, ; sponsored by the Summer Activities Council and The Bureau of Visual Education of the Extension Division, will begin Thursday evening-, June 16th, at 8:30 in Carroll Hall with its presentation of The Chaplin Fes tival, three groups of mutual comedies v.'ith Charlie Chaplin, produced in 1 C-l 6 and 1917. On June 23rd at 8:30, Pygmalion, based on the play by George Bernard Shaw, will be presented. It stars Les lie Howard and Wendy Miller. At half past 8 on June 30th, the movie presentation will be Jascha Heifetz. a behind-the-scenes portrait cl the violinist at home, working- in his garden, playing tennis with his wife, and preparing- for a concert. A Iso presented will be Trio, Life's widely-read photo-story on the great soloists, Rubenstein, Heifetz, and Piatig-orsky, in rehearsals. On July 7th, Rigoletto will be pre sented with costumed singers singing the best-known arias from the opera.
