Summer Enrollment Shows An Increase A slight increase in the percentage of North Carolinians enrolled at the University in Chapel Hill for the first summer term over that of 1954 is shown in a statistical report re leased by Chancellor R. B. House. A breakdown of the total 2,939 registered indicates 2,453 students from North Carolina, or more than 83 per cent. - Last year slightly less than 80 per cent were from in-state as reported by the Central Office of Records. General College has the largest enrollment among the individual schools, with 909 students, followed by Graduate School with 753. A total graduate figure of 823 is reached when a number of profes sional school students are included. Other registration figures include College of Arts and Sciences, 497; Business Administration School, 242; Education School, 172; and Law- School, 73. Out-of-: tate representation of stu dents is wide and varied. Virginia leads with 80; followed by South Carolina with 77; New York. 44 Georgia, 43; and Florida, 39.
